Best ever homemade pancakes using Shepherd’s Grain flour

Our favorite things about these pancakes:

  1. They’re super easy to make, and taste way better than using a mix.

  2. The recipe uses everything you have in your pantry already!

  3. You can make them into any shape for any holiday or just into regular pancakes! Make some extra and put them in the freezer for a quick and delicious homemade breakfast.



Homemade Pancake Recipe for Easter

Add your favorite berries or chocolate chips- the opportunities are endless!


 1 ½ cup Shepherd’s Grain All-Purpose Flour

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp white sugar

1 ¼ tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 3/4 cup warm milk

4 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp of vanilla extract

1 large egg


Mix dry ingredients in bowl

In a separate bowl add to warm milk the butter, and vanilla extrac. Then whisk in the egg until egg is incorporated into the liquid.

Using a whisk or table fork slowly stir the liquid starting at the center of the dry bowl ingredients until all is mixed. Do not over mix.

Cook on a flat top or thick bottom pan with medium heat with a little oil or butter in the pan until cakes are golden brown.. turn cakes once bubbles have form.

To make these easter bunny pancakes- you have 2 body pancakes one small and one larger.. Use a table spoon to form the feet and ears as per the picture. Use whip cream and shredded coconut for the tail and sliced banana and chocolate chips or blueberries for the paws.
